Trust and Safety/Legal
Terms of Service
The agreement between EzAdmin and the people who add it to a server or a game.
Using EzAdmin
These terms apply when you add EzAdmin to a Discord server, use its commands or dashboard, install its SDK or scripts in a game, or buy a plan. By doing any of those, you agree to them and to the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy. If you act for a server, a studio or a company, you confirm you are allowed to agree for them. You must be old enough to use Discord where you live, and 18 or over (or have a parent's or guardian's permission) to buy a plan.
Your responsibilities
- Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and the rules of Meta, PlayFab and any store your game is sold in.
- Only connect servers, games and channels you own or are authorised to manage.
- Follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Moderation decisions made with EzAdmin are yours. EzAdmin carries out the actions your staff request and the automatic actions you switch on; it does not decide who is guilty of anything.
- Give your players any notice their laws require about the data your game sends to EzAdmin.
Game connections
You are responsible for the keys and tokens you create for EzAdmin. EzAdmin uses them only to carry out actions your server requests, and you can revoke them at any time with the game's disconnect command or in the platform directly.
Anti tamper
If you use EzAdmin's anti tamper, you must tell your players in your game's own privacy notice that the game checks for cheating tools and sends reports to you. Anti tamper reports are signals for your staff, not proof. No anti tamper catches every cheat, and EzAdmin does not promise that it will. You decide what happens to a player, including when you switch on automatic kicks or bans, and you should give players a way to appeal.
Economy and purchases
- In game currencies and items belong to your game. EzAdmin moves them only as your game agrees, and does not hold balances.
- EzAdmin does not sell anything in your game and does not process payments for it. Purchases are between your players and you, under your platform's terms. Receipts EzAdmin sends record what your game reported.
- You must not use transfers to let players exchange currency for real money where your platform or the law forbids it, or to run gambling.
Blueprints
Blueprints carry out only the nodes EzAdmin offers, within the limits it sets, including actions like kicks, bans and giving items. You are responsible for the blueprints your server builds and switches on, and for their results.
Game settings and news
Settings and news you publish are sent to your game as you wrote them. You are responsible for their content and for how your game uses them. Never put passwords, keys or personal data in them: anything not marked for game servers only reaches players' devices.
Plans and payment
- A plan applies to one Discord server and one game. Prices are in US dollars and may include tax where the provider adds it.
- Paid plans are billed monthly by our payment provider and renew until cancelled.
- If you cancel, or a payment fails, the plan stays active until the paid time runs out and then returns to the free plan. Nothing you set up is deleted, though features of the paid plan stop and transaction history is shortened to the free plan's period.
- We may change prices. A change applies from your next renewal after we announce it.
- Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Labs features
Features marked Labs are newer. They are switched on per server, may change, and may be withdrawn. Switching one off stops it at once and keeps what it recorded.
The SDK and scripts
The EzAdmin SDK for Unity, and the CloudScript may be used in your own game under the EzAdmin Client License that comes with them. You may change them for your game. You may not sell or redistribute them as a product of their own. The bot, the dashboard and this website remain ours.
Names and trademarks
The EzAdmin name and logo are ours. Discord, Unity, PlayFab and Meta Quest are trademarks of their owners. EzAdmin is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any of them; their names are used only to say what EzAdmin works with.
If you believe something on EzAdmin uses your trademark without permission, email [email protected] or open a ticket from the support page with what it is, where it is, and that you own the mark or act for the owner. Copyright claims follow the process below.
Copyright notices (DMCA)
Customers can put their own content on EzAdmin, such as public pages, ban lists, bios and images. We respond to copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
Where to send it
- EzAdmin, Attn: Copyright
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone: (407) 602-8304
If you own a copyright
If you think something a customer put on EzAdmin copies your work, email us at the address above. Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone allowed to act for them.
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed, or a list if there are several.
- The material you say infringes it, with a link or enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.
When we get a complete notice, we remove or disable the material quickly and tell the customer who posted it. A notice missing these parts may not be acted on. Support tickets are also read, but a ticket is not a DMCA notice unless it has everything above.
If your content was removed
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send us a counter notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it was before.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where EzAdmin may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.
We send a copy to the person who sent the notice. We put the material back 10 to 14 business days later unless they tell us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.
Repeat infringers
We end the accounts and server access of customers who repeatedly infringe copyright, when the circumstances call for it.
False claims
Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Availability
We work to keep EzAdmin running, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. Actions depend on Discord and on your game's platform being available. Features may change as the product develops.
Ending use
You can remove EzAdmin from your server at any time, and ask us to delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend EzAdmin in a server or game that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and will say why when we can.
Warranty and liability
EzAdmin is provided as it is and as available, to the extent the law allows, without promises that it suits a particular purpose or is free of errors. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue, lost players, lost in game items or lost data, or for decisions made with EzAdmin. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.
Claims about your use
If someone makes a claim against us because of how you used EzAdmin in breach of these terms, such as a moderation decision you made, content you published, or a game you connected without permission, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Disputes
- Contact us first. If you have a problem with EzAdmin, email [email protected] with what happened and what you want done. We will both try in good faith to settle it for 60 days before either of us goes to court. This does not stop either of us asking a court for urgent help to stop harm, or using small claims court.
- Claims are brought by each person or business for themselves, not as part of a class or group action, to the extent the law allows.
- If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Not acting on a breach straight away does not mean we give up the right to act on it later.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, the date at the top changes, and important changes are announced in the EzAdmin Discord before they apply. Continuing to use EzAdmin after that means you accept them. Questions go to a support ticket.
Legal notices, including notices under these terms, go by email to [email protected].
